We can't thank Kristen enough for all of her help. Without her, we would not be in our lovely new home. We needed a 2nd mortgage to complete some renovations prior to selling our old home. My husband, Paul, and I decided to use the equity in our home, to start a home based business. This was a new venture for us and we were taking a chance. I would like to thank the Mortgage Station for the wonderful work they did to help me get a Mortgage ... Especially David Flude. We were probably in one of the worst case scenarios possible and the folks there just made it work perfectly. You see we were unaware of the new law regarding "Beacon Scores" that came into effect in October 2008, as I expected my mortgage to just be renewed I really didn't think twice. Until one day I called my mortgage company for some information to find out that they were an American company and they had closed..... My mortgage was not being renewed.... Well needless to say to my shock and horror when I called my mortgage broker at the time, I was told due to my "Beacon Score" being below 600 I was NOT ELIGIBLE FOR A MORTGAGE!!!! and I would need to sell my HOUSE!!! Mortified and very scared (being a single mom)... I was thankfully told by a friend to contact David Flude at the Mortgage Station. Whew!!!! David worked diligently with me throughout the next few months to not only get a mortgage, repair my credit rating, but got me a rate 4% LOWER!!!!... Yes, even my mortgage dropped over $400.00 a month and I came out with some money in my pocket, all expenses for my lawyer paid to boot.... I was so scared about losing my home you have no idea.... but he came through with flying colours... I cannot express the relief and thanks I have for making everything work out BEAUTIFULLY!!!
